These arnt that hard to make. They are concaved and make great fleshing knives. Cut the cutting edges off. Once done you can measure for the handle piece. Cut the blade so that the wood handles can be hammered on. I left a 2 inch piece 3 inches long on both ends of the blade for the handles. Once i had that done i took a 2x4 and cut two handles. I cut them 2x2 by 5 1/2 inches long. Then drilled a pilot slot for the metal to be driven into. Once that was done i hammered on the handles and shaped them like i wanted them. Off to the grinder for the sharpened edge. I ground it down then took a fine metal file and worked it down to perfection. I squared off the other edge for pushing the flesh from the hides.
